COOCHIE'S BREAM

Post-punk/psychedelic, with hints of mid 70's Kraut rock and early Glam-prog and stripped down grooves, featuring John (JJ) Johnson of 1970's early punk scene fame, Mark Eason of Nifty Eagu & the Glo-Pilots, and Nicki of the Bad Actors.

QUAG II

Still in the Vaults - The French Connection: originally featuring Brad and Arno of the late Alain Bashung's rhythm section, and Nifty Eagu on guitar, and latterly, Paul Jothy on drums. Recorded at The Living Room and then at Tristram's Place in Paris in mad, wild jam sessions of laid back but in-your-face space-barking-rock. Two thirds recorded to date, the rest is yet to happen, and knowing the pace of life in France this one will probably take until 2010 to see the light of day, but it is "ongoing" (a bit like the Napoleonic Wars were) tidally. Think Kapt Kopter and the Twirly Birds meets ZZ Top meets a jazzed up Hawkwind meets a blitzed out Post Punk Power Trio that never existed with an odd Pyschedelic Jazz Trio inbetween. Somewhere along those lines. somewhere... but also nowhere. Knowing Brad there'll be some ukelele virtuoso stuff on the final product too. Very Gallic, very English, very macho, very guitary, very mad and very weird.

Solstice Samedi, listen:

Quag II even have a MYSPACE Page here. Salut!
